In the framework of World Food Safety Day 2025, the National Codex Alimentarius Committee (CNCA) led a discussion n 10 June that brought together various public and academic institutions, with the aim of promoting knowledge and a culture of food safety in Ecuador. This event highlighted the fundamental role played by science and inter-institutional collaboration in ensuring safe, quality food for the entire population.

During the event, scientific advances, regulations, and projects related to food safety, aligned with the principles of the Codex Alimentarius, were discussed, emphasizing the importance of cooperation between producers, authorities, and consumers to guarantee public health.
