A World Food Safety Day event is being organized by the General Coordination of Food Safety at the regulatory and supervisory body for the production, marketing and consumption of agricultural products in Ecuador, AGROCALIDAD, which is attached to the Ministry of Agriculture of Ecuador.

The event is organized with the support of the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA), as the IX Food Safety Seminar, with the theme "Science in Action."
